The Latest News

Our farm is located in Washington County, New York which is known for its rolling green hills and dairy farms.  The social event of the year around here is the Washington County Fair www.washingtoncountyfair.com, which is always held the third week in August.  There are, of course, the typical carnival rides, but the focus of the Fair is on livestock and the children who raise the animals on their family farms.

We've spent quite a bit of time at the Fair this week, walking through barn after barn of cows, ducks, geese, chickens, lambs, goats, and pigs, and catching up with neighbors.  There is always more to learn about farming!
